Bing to come with porn filter
After plenty of media coverage on the ease of Microsoft’s Bing search engine children to find and view porn, Microsoft has decided to bring some changes in the search engine that can help parents to block and monitor what their kids get to view on the site. In a post made by the company on their blog, Microsoft has said that it had thought about the issue and will be making two changes in the engine to address the issue. And accordingly, explicit images and video will now be coming on a separate single domain,explicit.bing.net which will invisible to the customers and it also will allow filtering of content by domain which will make sure that explicit content will be filtered off regardless of the SafeSearch settings. With these new changes in the search engine, parents will now be able to block images or videos from specific domains and sites. There are several other third party tools that can be used with Microsoft Windows Vista or the Mac OSX. Microsoft will also make sure that specific URL’s to block are returned to the search engine and the sites that are blocked by the tools are also blocked by the search engine
