Bridging the Boundaries – Internet Technology

Internet Technology has now become a predominant factor in our daily life, almost everything we do. Businesses and services have come all over the internet making a revolutionary change in the market. And the changes started with news and not it’s become a booming place for new business ventures and services. Ergo, so many Internet service providers and application oriented service providers and newer and newer and better models are being designed for propelling newer applications, software and hardware. The recent AOL-Time-Warner tie-up recasts our apprehension of future business ventures, leaving us in astonishment as to who will monopolize future businesses. If an Internet company that was lightly regarded takes over one of the Internet mega corps, where will the changes stop? So much of research is being put into this field; networkers are probing into bringing big pipes to homes while more and more people are delving into operating systems within the context of web servers. The impact of the increasing research on the internet has been tremendous with a number of university research projects ending up as very good products on the internet. The open source is another pertinent factor in this realm, while the Linux OS and the Apache server are the most rendered systems in web serving. The Internet's influence on our daily life is simply fantastic. The other day, my wife received an E greeting card. It’s easier to reach me on the internet than by phone. Like most of the people, I do not search for research papers in libraries, but on the internet. The internet has opened up the world of limitless possibilities. You can buy, sell, watch TV, do whatever you want, everything at the click of a mouse
